I am a curious systems-level thinker transitioning from Healthcare Emergency Management to Software Engineering. I discovered
a passion for software engineering when I was assigned to automate a rules-based emergency mass notification system at a regional
healthcare system. I designed and implemented critical notification templates which supported hospital incident response. I enjoyed
watching this system work under adverse emergency conditions; it created a bridge of logic over a sea of chaos to improve the lives
and realities of others. I design software with the guiding principles of reliability, resiliency,
and user experience.
